Learning from people
Users suggest better wording with the ✏️ button in the phrasebook. The AI gives a second opinion; you decide. Approved text goes into the phrasebook right away.

Saved on this device.
Light (white) is the default. Auto follows your phone or computer setting.
Sets how loud phrases and translations are read aloud, on top of your device volume.
Your privacy
- Phrasebook: works entirely in your browser. Nothing you look up is sent anywhere.
- Live translator: the text you translate is sent to an online translation service to be translated. It isn't stored by this site. Speech recognition is done by your browser; in Chrome and Edge that means Google's or Microsoft's servers.
- Your voice: the original recording is never stored, your voice ID is encrypted (AES-256), and only your account can use it.
- Suggestions: if you send a better wording with ✏️, it is saved with your account so a reviewer can check it.
- Conversations: your conversation history is kept only on this device. You can turn it off or delete it under Conversations.
- Feedback: messages you send are saved with your account so we can read and answer them.
- We don't store your texts, translations, or audio.
